| About Our Show The Christmas Goose Boutique was started 31 years ago this holiday season at a home in Saratoga. As, the show grew it was moved to the Saratoga Foothill Club where it stayed for the next sixteen years. The show soon became a community event for the Saratoga and Los Gatos area. We do a "blended setup" instead of booths so we may show the merchandise in themes or styles, which our customers seem to enjoy. Come and taste our homemade foods and hug the handmade dolls, touch the quilts, smile at the decorations, antiques and other collectibles. |
Why the Move: The Saratoga Foothill Club membership will be restoring the historical landmark. We are told this restoration will be on going for several years. The membership felt we have so much traffic during the show, it is hard on the delicate wonderful old building. Considering the restoration, every one agreed this would be a good time for a move. Happily, we have chosen to be at the History Club of Los Gatos again this year. The History Club is just a few miles down Los Gatos/Saratoga Road (Highway 9) and a right turn from the Saratoga Foothill Club. It has not been decided yet if this is a permanent home until we see how the show works for all of us and their membership. We are grateful to the History Club of Los Gatos for making the show very welcome. The History Club's building is charming, light, airy and has an outside garden area. It is located in a lovely Victorian residential area of Los Gatos. Another historical landmark, the Club is over 100 years old. It has a different linear look than we are used to; so it will be a fun challenge to try some new holiday displays.
